PhD student Alison Procter is currently attending the University of Essex Summer School in Social Science Data Analysis and Collection, Colchester, UK

The Summer School runs for six weeks and offers courses in a range of quantitative and qualitative methods.  Alison is attending courses in Qualitative Data Analysis, Case Study Methodology and Participant Observation.  This opportunity has been made available with the support of a Vice Chancellor’s Travel Grant and financial support from the Political Science Discipline.  For anyone who is interested in the Summer School or the courses which Alison attended, she will present on this information on her return.
