The journal, which is produced on behalf of the Australasian Political Studies Association, was recently ranked as on of the top sixty political science journals in the world. It is published four times a year and is produced by Taylor and Francis.
The Journal has three objectives: To stimulate scholarly
and practitioner dialogue in public administration, public management
and policy analysis.
To encourage critical, comparative analysis, especially of European, Commonwealth and American public administration. To publish articles which are theoretically rigorous and of a broad and vivid current interest.
Encourages research, reflection and commentary amongst those interested in a range of public sector settings federal, state, local and intergovernmental
The major journal for publication of work concerned with the development of theory in the study of political processes. It provides an authoritative forum for the publication of original papers that seek to make genuinely theoretical contributions to the study of politics. The journal offers rigorous articles on a range of theoretical topics.
